THE STORY

A clean and honest example of Omega’s understated early-1960s tool watch design. This Seamaster 30 ref. 125.003-62 carries the quiet precision and balanced proportions that made the line a favorite among enthusiasts who appreciate simplicity done right.

The dial remains untouched and beautifully preserved, with a crisp structured layout and beautiful linen texture that gives the watch a subtle sense of depth. Applied gold markers and the classic Seamaster script maintain the restrained elegance Omega was known for during this period. The original gold hands show only light, honest wear, consistent with age.

The 35mm stainless steel case appears unpolished and close to factory condition, retaining its original geometry and sharp edges. At approximately 42mm lug-to-lug, it wears comfortably on the wrist while maintaining strong vintage presence. The watch is fitted with its original Omega-signed crown, and the screw-down caseback remains in great condition with a crisp Seamaster hippocampus engraving. Inside, the case is correctly stamped 125.003-62.

Powering the watch is the reliable Omega caliber 269, a manually wound movement known for durability and smooth operation. The serial number dates the watch to 1962, placing it firmly within the golden era of Omega’s mid-century production.

Overall, this Seamaster presents as a very good quality vintage example—honest, sharp, and increasingly difficult to find with this level of originality.
